President Buhari today praised former president Goodluck Jonathan for voluntarily conceding defeat in the 2015 general election. President Buhari said this at the unveiling of a book titled “My Transition Hours” by Jonathan.
Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, President Buhari said Jonathan is a true democrat whose act of courage had made him a patriotic leader and earned him popularity among Africans and other leaders.
“You are a leader of the past, of now and of the future; you will rise again; I wish you the best you wish yourself, ” Buhari said
He called on Nigerians to see elections as contests, which should be done in a free, fair and peaceful environment.
He said Nigerians should relinquish bitterness, bigotry, hate speech and “promote Nigeria for us and generation yet unborn.”

So why chase a true democrat out of power? Why not support him or join forces with him? So you deprived Nigerria the continued rule of a true democrat? Or maybe its just lip singing. Iono.
He is a democrat in terms of handling over power to an elected person as president, but he is not a good treasury keeper. And beside how come your brain is telling you that Buhari chased away Jonathan? Where were you when 2015 election was held and Buhari was declared winner? Are u in another planet?
Yes...Baba has affirmed that already, we only hope he comply
Abi...lol
